The following two students from our lab (4th-year students of the College of Information Science) received the Shinsei-kai Award from the alumni association of the College of Information Science at the university. This award is given to outstanding students upon graduation.

The following paper authored by Koji Noshiro (a 4th-year student at the time of writing) has been accepted at IJCAI, one of the most prestigious international conferences in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Koji Noshiro from our lab has been selected as vice-representative of the College of Information Science at the university and received the School of Informatics Chair's Award.

The following three papers from our lab members were accepted at ICAART 2023 (15th International Conference on Agents and Artificial Intelligence).
Our lab member Eiji Sakurai (Master's Year 2) received the Best Presentation Award at the 39th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Software Science and Technology, held from August 31 to September 2, 2022, for his presentation titled "Decision Making in Hearthstone Based on Evolutionary Algorithms (in Japanese)." Yu Iwasaki, a 2nd-year master's program student in our lab, received the Graduate Program Leader Award. This award is given by the program leader to outstanding students upon completing their master's degree.
Keisuke Sekine from our lab received the Shinsei-kai Award for outstanding performance in the College of Information Science at our university. This award is given by the Shinsei-kai, the alumni association of the college, to top students upon graduation.

Koji Noshiro, a 3rd-year student in our lab, received the Best Presentation Award at the 38th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Software Science and Technology, held from September 1 to 3, 2021, for his presentation titled "Optimization Method Based on the Hemostatic Mechanism of Platelets."

Keisuke Tomoda from our lab received the Student Encouragement Award at the 83rd National Convention of the Information Processing Society of Japan, held from March 18 to 20, for his presentation titled "Board Estimation in Imperfect Information Games Using Action Value Functions in Perfect Information Games (in Japanese)."
